10 female CEOs in the FORTUNE 500 - a small number, but up from just one a decade ago. Together  these women oversee $101 billion, or 1% of FORTUNE 500 sales. The woman in command of the biggest company this year is CEO Brenda Barnes of Sara Lee (No. 111), which has $19.7 billion in sales. (SOURCE: Fortune Magazine)
