Replace dollar bills by coins

Dollar coins can circulate for 30 years compared with 18 to 22 months for a dollar bill.

US would save $500 million each year if dollar bills were replaced by coins, like the new, golden George Washington ones release Feb. 15. (Source: Time Magazine)
