High Inflation Rates

1,594% was the estimated annual inflation rate in trouble-racked Zimbabwe in January – the highest in the world.

4,000% is the inflation rate predicted by the International Monetary Fund for Zimbabwe by year’s end of the prices continue to soar and the government doesn’t devalue the currency.

Replace dollar bills by coins

Dollar coins can circulate for 30 years compared with 18 to 22 months for a dollar bill.
